Permafrost, from Norway. Formed in 1982 by Frode Heggdal Larsen & Kåre Steinsbu. Robert Heggdal & Trond Tornes joined in 2001, Daryl Bamonte in 2016. They take their name from a song by Magazine, other influences are Joy Division & The Cure. Their ‘Femme Fatale’, 'Closed Eyes' & ‘Restore Us’ singles all reached #1 on the Indie Disko Top 40 chart in 2021 & placed high on other indie charts ... more
