Permafrost, from Norway. Formed in 1982 by Frode Heggdal Larsen & Kåre Steinsbu. Robert Heggdal & Trond Tornes joined in 2001, Daryl Bamonte in 2016. They take their name from a song by Magazine, other influences are Joy Division & Talking Heads. Their ‘Closed Eyes’ single, released on their Fear of Music label, gave them their 2nd consecutive #1 on the Indie Disko Top40 and remained there for several weeks
